Bani Malhotra is a PhD Candidate in Creative Arts Therapies Department and a Research Fellow in Dr. Girija Kaimal's Health, Arts, Learning, and Evaluation Lab (HALE). She has worked with adults, children, and adolescents in varied settings with Master’s degrees in Psychology and Art Therapy. A Board-certified art therapist by training, Bani has focused her research on medical art therapy and interprofessional relationships.

Patrick Smith is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Community Health and Prevention at the Dornsife School of Public Health. A primary care nurse by training, Patrick has focused his research on understanding structural determinants of chronic disease disparities and multi-level interventions to advance health equity.

Patrick Chang is an MD candidate at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Patrick is currently involved in research under the Neurobiology and Anatomy Department with particular focus on therapies for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. His other research under the Humanities division at the College of Medicine investigates the impact of end-of-life bioethics and palliative care on physician performance, burnout, and recovery.

Valerie Klein serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Program Director for teacher education programs in the School of Education. Her research interests include teachers’ use of formative assessment in mathematics, creating opportunities for rich problem solving in the classroom, and qualitative research methods.
